CHILDREN’S WELL-BEING AND PERSPECTIVES ON ITS ENHANCEMENT
First International Conference on Children’s Well-being
Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences
Athens, 5-7 July 2019
Call for  Αbstracts

The aims of the conference are to: a) clarify the concept of “well-being” as it pertains to children, b) address the ways in which it is used in studies purporting to observe, measure and predict children’s well-being, c) discuss the role that various factors (e.g., social, political, cultural, economic, psychological, environmental, pedagogical) play in children’s lived experience, and d) advance perspectives by means of which children’s well-being can be enhanced at the local, regional, national or global levels.

In the light of these aims, the conference organizers invite interested parties to submit by June 05, 2019 abstracts in English, of no more than 300 words or papers of no more than 15 double-spaced pages on the theme of the conference.  Submissions should be sent to eirinileriou@gmail.com  Acceptance notices will be sent on June 10, 2019.  Participation in the conference is open to the public and free of charge.
